The Clubhouse is Beauitful

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

All of the residents came into the clubhouse on Tuesday and decorated for the Holidays.  Christmas trees up and down stairs, lights everywhere, the wreaths are hung and in no time at all the Clubhouse looks like Christmas.   This is an annual event for the residents, they have a great time doing this , enjoying coffee and a lot of laughs.  We decided this year to put a patriotic  in the foyer, it’s all red, white and blue with American Flags.  It’s an awesome tree!!

Quilt Club

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

The Park Hills Crossing Quilt Club is working on a GREAT project that shows how giving so many of our residents are. They are meeting today so they can work on Quilts for the Homeless. Sandra Leonard has been so gracious to furnish all the fabric that the Quilt Club needs. Sandra only ask one thing, when the quilts are finished with the fabric she provided, they must be given to someone in need. What a perfect win-win for everyone. I know this is one of the only communities around that puts other peoples needs before their own. What a wonderful group of people.
